Do It Yourself: Practical Book Conservation Techniques
As part of the Green Spine 2017, The Libraries will be conducting a free training workshop entitled "Do It Yourself: Practical Book
Conservation Techniques" on 29 March 2017, Wednesday, 9:00AM - 11:00AM, Multipurpose Room, The Learning Commons, 12th floor, Henry Sy, Sr. Hall. The training-workshop aims to instill the value of book/paper conservation as one the sustainable solutions in maintaining library collection and to teach basic book/paper conservation techniques.
Karen Cecille V. Natividad, an Associate Librarian at the De La Salle University Libraries will be resource speaker. She specializes in archival studies and administration and is on her way to completing her graduate degree in Library and Information Science from the University of the Philippines. She once served as a member of the National Committee on Archives of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).
Online registration is required due to limited number of slots (maximum of 50). Interested participants are requested to kindly fill out this online registration form. Registration ends at 5:00 PM on 24 March 2017.
