Upcoming Event: IamInfoSMART Symposium 2017: Upscaling: Information Literacy in Transformation
The DLSU Libraries will be holding its annual information literacy campaign called IamInfoSMART with the theme "Outgaming Misinformation: MIL Does the Mending” on 27-29 November 2017, 9:00AM-5:00PM at the Exhibit Area, The Learning Commons, 6F Henry Sy, Sr. Hall.
One of the activities is a free symposium entitled “Upscaling: Information Literacy in Transformation" to be held at the 12th Floor Multi-purpose Room, The Learning Commons on 27 November 2017 (Monday), 1:00PM – 5:00PM.
This symposium aims to bring together librarians, LIS teachers, researchers, media specialists, educators and students to exchange knowledge and experience and discuss current practices, developments and challenges in information literacy, both in practice and theory.
Interested participants are required to pre-register online not later than 20 November 2017 (Monday) using this http://tinyurl.com/infosmart2017symposium.
Registration is free of charge, but on a first-come, first-served basis. Certificate of participation will be given to those who will attend this symposium.
