Video Pick of the Week (13-17 June 2017): Heneral Luna
In observance of the Linggo ng Kalayaan (Proclamation No. 914, s. 1992), the Libraries proudly presents, Heneral Luna, a film produced by Artikulo Uno Production, as Video Pick of the Week. It will run from 13-17 June 2017 at the TV corner, The Learning Commons, 6th floor, Henry Sy Sr. Hall.
“Set during the Philippine-American war, Heneral Luna follows the life of one of Philippine History's most brilliant soldier, General Antonio Luna, as he tries to lead his countrymen against colonial masters new and old, and to rise above their own raging disputes to fulfill the promise of the Philippine Revolution” (source IMDb).
Video Pick of the Week is an initiative to promote media and information literacy in the academic community. It also aims to promote the audiovisual collection of the Instructional Media Services (IMS) of the Libraries.
