Communicating with God Through Prayer : a Faith Formation Seminar for the DLSU Libraries Staff

By Rosendo Rama, Readers' Services Librarian

After two years of working remotely, the DLSU Libraries Team came together for an in-person faith formation seminar held last 18 July 2022 at the Verdure, Henry Sy Sr. Hall. Fifty-seven library personnel attended this activity organized by the Staff Development Committee headed by Mr. Jorge Bundalian, in partnership with the Office of the Vice President for Lasallian Mission (VPLM) and Lasallian Pastoral Office (LSPO). Mr. Robert Thomas Perez Jr., a DLSU alumnus and a member of the National Speakers Bureau of Pondo ng Pinoy Community Foundation, served as the facilitator.

With the theme “Communicating with God Through Prayer,” this seminar provided an opportunity for the participants to understand how prayer helps in going through varying seasons and rhythms of life. It highlighted how the habit of praying could lead to a more profound encounter and a closer relationship with God. It was a fruitful and meaningful activity where the staff took home valuable lessons on and a deeper understanding of prayer.
