CLFI pays courtesy visit to DLSU

Cebuana Lhuillier Foundation, Inc. (CLFI) graced De La Salle University for a courtesy visit last 31 March 2022 to hand over the Quincentennial commemorative token to DLSU, led by Br. Bernard Oca FSC, Office of the President (OP).

DLSU, CLFI and the National Quincentennial Commission jointly organized Inspiration in Mission: A Commemoration of the 500 years of Christianity in the Philippines, a full-day event held on 28 October 2021. The event featured the premiere of the Philippe Jones Lhuillier (PJL) Virtual Museum and the panel discussion sessions from the various fields of the liberal arts about a glimpse of the past and future development of the Church and Christianity.

DLSU’s Advancement and Alumni Relations Office (AARO), Libraries (LIB) and College of Liberal Arts (CLA) were part of the Working Committee in this collaborative project.

The Quincentennial tokens were received by Br. Bernie (OP), Mr. Edwin Reyes (AARO) and Ms. Christine Abrigo (LIB) in a ceremonial hand over by Mr. Jonathan Batangan, CLFI Executive Director.
