ASHA USAID visits the Learning Commons
Dr. Muhammad Latif, Engineer of the American Schools and Hospitals Abroad (ASHA) of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), came all the way from the US to visit DLSU last April 24, 2018, as part of his mission to check on the ASHA-funded sites, specifically, the (old) library and the student services buildings of the university. Dr. Latif was warmly received by Chancellor Dr. Robert Roleda, together with the Vice President for External Relations and Internationalization, Dr. Laurene Chua-Garcia, Donor Relations and Alumni Engagement Officer Mr. Ramoncito Emmanuelle R. Dizon, Director of Libraries Ms. Christine Abrigo and Associate American Corner Librarian, Ms. Donna Lyn Labangon. ASHA USAID is DLSU's donor who generously gifted the University a grant to build the old library building.
